  Jehovah's Witnesses---A Cult or Not?

  when i first got on this site, i would bristle at the thought that i ever belonged to a cult.. do you believe that witnesses are truly "cultists"?.

  5.	Sociology . a group having a sacred ideology and a set of rites centering around their sacred symbols.

  6.	a religion or sect considered to be false, unorthodox, or extremist, with members often living outside of conventional society under the direction of a charismatic leader.

  7.	the members of such a religion or sect.

  8.	any system for treating human sickness that originated by a person usually claiming to have sole insight into the nature of disease, and that employs methods regarded as unorthodox or unscientific. I would say not according to the definition of cult. What do you think?

  Time of The END ????

  a number of religions ,not just the wacky dubs, claim we are in the "time of the end ".

  now, leaving out silly numbers and 1914, which was blown away years ago, what do such apocalyptic doom-mongerers have from scripture to give this idea credence ?.

  the only thing i can think of , apart from the "cry of peace and security " which is no proof at all, is daniels dream image in dan chap.

  According to bookstudy, it's ok to beat wife.....occassionally

  i apologize if this has been mentioned, but i don't have the time to come on here as often.

  yesterday's bookstudy on divorce got my shorts in a bit of a knot.

  apparently, according to the god's love book, a wife could consider legal separation from her husband if she is physically abused, but (get this) only in the case of extreme physical abuse, and if the wife's life is in danger.

  yesterday's bookstudy on divorce got my shorts in a bit of a knot.

  apparently, according to the god's love book, a wife could consider legal separation from her husband if she is physically abused, but (get this) only in the case of extreme physical abuse, and if the wife's life is in danger.

  Ada, feel blessed because you live in the time period where all things written takes place and have been. You have just been pointed in the wrong direction. I am actually from GOD as He sent me forth. The one at Matthew 24:45-47

  A time period was set for all creation upon the earth to live with "free will". Those in the heavens known as the wicked ones are being brought to justice at Harmageddon and I am witness to this. This has occured coincidental to the war in The Middle East.

  Rest assure that Jesus Christ has been crowned, no not in 1914, but within these past years after september 11.......GOD is with me therefore I know.
